Boat

Upside down AMG cigarette boat geometry, scaled down by 50%, designed for the 3rd Annual Abloh Skateboarding Invitational at Lot 11 in Miami. Done in collaboration with ARCHITECTURE, graphics by Studio Temp and Mahfuz Sultan, construction and engineering by California Skateparks. The spine and edges of the boat are modified with steel tube coping. Historically, street skate jams have repurposed decommissioned police cars as obstacles. In homage to this tradition, and with a Miami flare, the boat was conceived as a local appropriation, stolen from a marina or rap video.
