Camper Store

This Camper store, with its location in Rockefeller Center and its position across the street from Radio City Music Hall, sits within a work of landmark architecture. When these historic locations opened in 1933, they were state-of-the-art buildings that brought together community values, artistic works, mechanical innovation, craftsmanship, and popular culture. The store’s design engages its location, bringing aspects of the surrounding architecture into the shop and celebrating them. From within the shop visitors have one of the best views of Radio City Music Hall, except now the view has been co-opted and reads ‘Camper Radio City.’
