Public Benches

Public benches and raised tables, 3D-printed on additive manufacturing equipment developed for Boeing for the production of soft tooling for aircraft wing prototypes. Designed on commission with Perkins&Will for their renovation of the urban plaza of Philip Johnson's 1973 IDS Center in Minneapolis. The benches and tables were drawn with a digital vector tool designed by Jürg Lehni that automates the production of oblong shapes at random.
